Glad to see that you're still taking some time to get outdoors and enjoy the weather. The weather is always weird but it seems to be getting even weirder.

In the wilderness, you are even more aware of the effects of climate change and human development. For example, Blueback (subspecies of Sockeye) salmon needs to live in a glacier fed lake before they go further upstream to spawn. Now, the glacier is nearly gone and landowners around the lake are messing up the streams protect their land from erosion. For the past few years very few Blueback have returned.

good morning michael
cleveland can be an interesting place, as we have an extensive set of parks in the area...i live onn a very busy street within cleveland city limits (no suburb for me), and yet the shaker lakes system is right there...this specific park is less then a miles walk from my buildings front door

Molly,

It makes me miss Washington more; there was such natural grace and beauty to that place. I'm in envy.

Blessings,

Michael
