I read the other day that one of the many reasons people celebrated winter solstice was because of the fear that the (sun) light would not return. See, I totally get that, I've wondered myself during long winters if I would ever see the sun again. I love the simplicity in this ancient stuff. As a non-religious person I often wondered why I actually have a reason to celibrate this time of year. This is it!
So loving solstice to you as well, may there always be light for you!

yes, and most religion is allegory for the sun (except judiasm, which is actually a lunar religion)
